THE ORIGIN
My journey into photography began in 2010, when I picked up a friend’s Fujiflim DSLR for the first time. There was something about looking at the world through a viewfinder that immediately felt different. I wanted to do more than simply take photographs — I wanted to understand light, capture moments, and tell stories through them. Not long after, I bought my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 500D, and what began as curiosity gradually became one of the defining passions of my life.
Over the years, photography grew far beyond a hobby. I have worked professionally on events, commercial projects and product photography, but the photographs closest to me have always been the ones born from curiosity and exploration. Aircraft crossing the sky, birds in flight, distant landscapes, the night sky, and places I have never seen before continue to give me a reason to pick up my camera.
I have travelled thousands of kilometres for a photograph — sometimes toward a destination I had planned for weeks, sometimes simply toward somewhere I had never been before. I am especially drawn to lesser-known places. There is something deeply rewarding about discovering a landscape for the first time, experiencing its atmosphere, and trying to translate that feeling into a single frame.
Photography what makes me feel something.
My goal is not simply to document what is in front of me, but to translate a little of what I felt while standing there into the final image. I am fascinated by things that often go unnoticed — a distant bird caught in the right light, the geometry of an aircraft against the sky, a landscape transformed for a few minutes by changing weather, or details in the night sky that our eyes alone cannot fully reveal.
Photography allows me to show people something they may never have noticed, visited or even been able to see with their own eyes.
And after all these years, I am still looking.
For the next place.
The next light.
The next story.
The next frame.
